Football posters
Inspired by some posters I seen on the net today I decided to do a wee minimalist wall poster tribute to Kenny Dalglish. Upon seeing it though my housemate Graeme (a Man Utd fan) conceptualized a rather different poster.  This is what I came up with under his direction…. massive thanks to Sam Elliot for the loan of his moustache…

New liverpool 3rd Kit!
Liverpool released their new 3rd kit today and it contained *gasps* the colour blue!  This is a crime tantamount to treason!  I’ve decided to rectify this mistake with just a couple of little tweaks…  Classic Red and grey… its amazing how little can make a huge difference:D

Biffy Clyro t-shirt
A friend of mine designed this in jest for Biffy Clyro’s design a t-shirt competition.  Although it wasn’t originally his plan, its actually gone viral and has amassed over 100,000 votes online! The final decision on whether the t-shirt is made or not rests with the band… really really hope they have a good sense of humour.  I’d buy this t-shirt for God’s sake, and...

Lens for sale!
I’m giddy with excitement!  After months (upon months, upon months) of saving up I’m going to invest in a lovely Nikon 70-200mm zoom lens!  This is a lens so good that it costs the price of a car… well, a cheap car, but still a car… Anyways, as one final push to get the requisite funds for this extravagant yet essential (yes, essential) purchase I’m selling off my...

Calvin Harris
Some pics of the lovely Calvin Harris DJing in Mandela Hall, Belfast last week.  He played a really cool set - eased them in with some more commercial dance but turned it on big-style for the last hour. Absolutely bangin’ as the youth of today might (but probably don’t) say…

Coldest place in the entire universe!
My hometown recorded a Northern Irish record low temperature of -18.6… what better way to celebrate than to venture out with my camera and tripod for some long exposure photographs at 1am!  When I got back indoors after 2 hours outside my knuckles were actually cracked and bleeding… the results were worth it though! Nikon D700, 24-70mm lens, 30 second exposure, f4, ISO 200

WatchWatch
This is my first attempt at Camera Projection, a technique where you make a still photograph look like it is moving.  In this case i tried to make it look like a slow motion strobbing movement.  The photograph was broken into component parts using Photoshop CS5.  Sections of the crowd were cloned and rebuilt.  Then it was all all put together and animated using After Effects. It takes a bit of...
